Mankind  is passing through a stormy phase. The pressures, for various reasons, are too many, resulting into too much stress in daily life. Sometimes, an individual is not able to handle the stress effectively which spoils his or her response to others and towards surroundings.

Also, people have divergent views on all issues. There lurks a strong feeling in some part of the mind that ‘my’ opinion is more valuable than others’. This leads slowly to indifference, intolerance, contempt and hatred.   

A section of the people also resort to certain deplorable actions, sometimes inadvertently, and sometimes just for a ‘kick’. Such actions create chaos, ill will, apathy, unhappiness and even more stress for the people at large and they begin to look at this world as inhospitable.

Then there are some natural tribulations, to the disillusionment of a part of the populace, where people are left wondering, ‘why to me/us ?’ Not knowing what to do in those pathetic circumstances as affected individuals, they find great solace if they come across someone who would just listen and show willingness to help.

Even with all the sporadic harshness around us, this is a beautiful planet to live on. Look at its beauty through the eyes of a child, feel the joys of its creations through the mind of a toddler and you will find beauty & joy in yourself and your fellow beings.

URGE will keep reminding you about this and goading you towards eradicating this harshness for making this world more loving, peaceful and joyful through your words and actions. Let us always remember that nothing is more heinous than being immune to the necessities of the fellow human beings, knowing fully well that the civilization cannot flourish without interdependence.
